Following AHS guidelines continues to allow us to play
hockey. It is critical for you to understand your expectations when you need to
stay home and not participate in any games.
AHS Effective January 3, 2022, people are legally
required to isolate when they have symptoms or a positive COVID-19 test
(including a positive rapid test).
If you are fully immunized against COVID-19 (this
means you are immunized with two doses in a two-dose vaccine series or one dose
of the Janssen vaccine):
- You are legally required to stay home and isolate for at
least 5 days from when you first started having symptoms.
- You must keep isolating until you are fever-free for 24
hours without the use of fever-reducing medication. Some symptoms may continue
after you are no longer able to spread the virus to others. If cough, loss of
sense of taste or smell, or fatigue are still present but are not getting worse
after 5 days of isolation, you do not need to keep staying home.
- For 5 days following your period of isolation, you must wear
a mask at all times when around anyone else outside of your home. This is not
necessary if you isolated for 10 days or more.
- If you had no symptoms when you tested positive, you are
legally required to stay home and isolate for 5 days from the test date. If you
later develop symptoms after testing positive, you must isolate for at least 5
more days from when your symptoms start.
