As we move into the post-season play, we want to remind
everyone that although we strive to create a competitive environment four our participants,
we equally need to ensure that it is both fun and safe for all involved.
The expectation is that players are responsible for their
actions. This is not a pro-league and our officials are contractors only there
to be reactive in the calling of infractions. Players should already understand
their role in the game and not rely on the officials for maintaining the peace.
We have seen some negative behaviour in a small minority of players
over the last few weeks. The incidents are investigated and have resulted in participants
removed from league play.
We are all players but citizens with jobs as well. As we continue over the following weeks to the
finals, we expect everyone to be accountable for keeping each other safe on the
ice.
